Inclusive Programs

At Jambra, we create dynamic learning experiences that inspire exploration and cultivate growth. Our programs are designed to meet each child’s developmental needs while fostering confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Here’s a sneak peek at what we offer:

Sport & Movement

Movement-based activities that build coordination, gross motor skills, confidence and early teamwork. Gardening Children grow and care for plants, building an understanding of food, nature and responsibility.

Cooking

Hands-on food preparation — measuring, mixing, decorating — that builds fine motor skills, early maths (counting, sizes), vocabulary, and a positive relationship with food.

Language & Communication

Stories, songs, rhyme and everyday conversation build vocabulary, early literacy, and the confidence to communicate.

Preschool & School Readiness

In the Waratah room, children work on the practical and social skills that make the first year of school feel familiar rather than daunting — routines, self-help skills (dressing, toileting, managing belongings), and early literacy and numeracy.

The EYLF

Jambra’s program follows the Early Years Learning Framework, the curriculum used across approved Australian early learning services, built around five outcomes: children with a strong sense of identity, connected to and contributing to their world, with a strong sense of wellbeing, confident and involved learners, and effective communicators.

Educator qualifications

Jambra’s Waratah preschool room is led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), supported by a team that goes beyond minimum staffing requirements to provide additional care and attention

CCS approval

Jambra Chatswood is an approved CCS provider, meaning eligible families can claim the subsidy here.

This is the magic that Jambra makes, the educators evoke wonder through care and collaboration that impacts the lives of its families and surrounding community. Health and safety is a top priority and we appreciate how our family is cared for in the respect of making sure everyone is notified when there is a serious illness churning or keeping my baby at home if she’s too ill to attend the service.
